Locals only is a registration-based program targeted to high school players who want to continue playing after their school season, but are unable to travel or are multi-sport athletes.

Age:  Ages: 14-18 years of age; grades 9-12, 1-2 years experience (this program is not open to beginners)

The NC Elite Locals Only™ program is targeted specifically to the intermediate to experienced volleyball player looking to continue developing skills, while not committing to a full travel team experience.  Training is designed to build on already developed skills, refine technique and advance game knowledge and experience.   Coaches will work toward applying skill development to game application and court play. All players will train together in group practice sessions with an emphasis on individual skill development. Teams break out for game preparation.  

This is  a registration-based program, no tryouts are required.

Training Dates:  M / W November 13 through February 24
Training Times:  7:30-9:00pm

Location:  Ravenscroft School, Raleigh
Cost:  $1200 single payment due upon registration, or 2 payments, $600 due upon registration and $600 due December 1.
Included:  2x weekly training sessions, 4 RAVEs, 1 NC Elite T shirt
Capacity: Limited positions are available for the 2023-2024 season.

 No refunds are offered for this program.  This program fills to capacity.  If a player tries out for and accepts a position on an NC Elite travel team, payment may be transferred to that team.​​​​​​Please note that we are unable to offer make up tournaments or training dates, or offer refunds in the event of cancellation due to an weather or other events that are not within the control of NC Elite.

Drop-off / Pick-up Procedures

Ravenscroft is located at 7409 Falls of Neuse Road. When entering campus, pass through Bell Entrance (32) and  take the first right out of Sloan Circle (27).  Immediately turn left into Lots B/C.  Follow to the third parking bay, nearest to the Keim Building (20) and follow toward the Middle School (15).  Drop off immediately in front of the Middle School sign.  Players will walk along the Middle School walkway toward the AE Finley Center (9).  Players should arrive 10 minutes prior to their scheduled event.  Ravenscroft School is a K-12 school with a significant amount of activity occurring on weekdays and weekends.  Please be sure to follow the 15 MPH speed limit thoughout campus and drive with caution.  Note that the gates off of Newton Road (30) and the Winston Entrance (33) are currently locked for enhanced security.
