Coaches meeting begins at 8:30
am. Pool play
starts at 9:00 am.
Coaches would like all players
arrive at each event no later than 8:20am dressed
and ready for play (regardless
of what the posted schedule states ... since that
may change if there is a team who does not show)
Quest for Excellence Tournament

NC Elite Teams Entered: 13-2, 14-1,
14-4, 15-1, 15-2, 16-1, 16-2, 17-1, 17-2, 18-1 &18-2
The team schedules are now
available for Quest. NC Elite coaches should
have already communicated with the players/
families to ensure everyone understands the
expectations about where to be and when as well
as food coordination, reminders about what to
bring (include whistle and water bottles) etc.

Registration and Information:
The Event is using
Advanced Event Systems
(Quest Tournament) for registration and
results.

Officials:
We will provide the
first referee for all matches. Each team
must provide the second referee,
scorekeeper, assistant scorekeeper and two
lines people. The second referee and
scorekeeper must be certified. All members
of the officiating team must be registered
members of USA Volleyball (parents may not
call lines unless they are on the roster or
can show their membership card). This is a
USA Volleyball insurance requirement.

Coaches' Meeting:
Will be held at their respective gyms on
Saturday morning, 8:30 AM.

NC Elite Coaches should carry a completed
copy of each Player's Medical Release form
throughout the event. It is their
responsibility to have them in their
possession at all times in case of injury to
a player. Coaches should also have a correct
Team Roster on hand. Link to rosters will
be provided in an email to NC Elite Coaching
Staff.

Hotels:
The event host hotel is The Clarion Hotel
Airport (336) 299-7650 on Swing Road
near the intersection of I-40 and Guilford
College. This is a regional tournament and
therefore the club does not provide
bookings. If interested in reserving a
room, contact the hotel directly and ask for
the Quest tournament rate.

Awards:
Team awards will go to
the team that wins each Gold playoff
division. Individual awards will be given to
team members of teams that finish first in
the Gold Division of their age division.
Only players that are present and registered
are eligible for awards.

Our
first out-of-region competition is the
Monument City Classic
This
tournament is played at the Greater Richmond
Convention Center
Teams Entered:
NC Elite 13B, 14B,
14C, 14W, 15B, 15C, 15W, 15S, 16B,
16C, 16W, 17B, 17C, 18B & 18C

Advanced Event System
soon.
Format for the Monument City Classic will be wave play.
The 18's, 17 Open, 17 Club, 16's Open, 16's Club and 12's divisions
will begin play at 8:00am on Saturday, January 14, 2012.
The 15 Open, 15 Club, 14 Open, 14 Club, and 13's will begin play at
3:00pm on Saturday January 14, 2012.
The 18's, 16 Open, 15 Club, and 14 Club divisions will play one four
team pool or game equivalent on Saturday and Sunday and conclude with a
four team bracket on Monday with a two match guaranty. The last match
will be scheduled no later than 4:00pm on Monday. Each team should play
eight matches or game equivalent. See

The 13's, 14 Open, 15 Open, 16 Club, and 17's divisions will play one
four team pool or game equivalent on Saturday and Sunday and conclude
with a three team pool on Monday. The last match will be scheduled no
later than 4:00pm on Monday. Each team should play eight matches or game

The 12's division will play one four team pool on Saturday morning
and two thirds of a four team pool on Saturday afternoon. Pool play will
conclude on Sunday morning followed by playoffs. The last match will be
scheduled for no later than 1:00pm on Sunday. See

14C, 14W and 13B teams will be staying at
either the
Holiday Inn South-Bells Road or
Quality Inn West End with
their parents room.
Parents are to
stay at the hotels booked by the club unless
other arrangements were made in advance.
