Program Options Overview


Premier National Team
The Premier National Program is designed for the athlete pursuing collegiate-level volleyball and who is willing to make sacrifices for her progress, team, and club.  Premier National Program athletes see the highest level of competition in the state and take on some of the best competition across the country.  Premier National Program team players have athleticism and skill to match up against the best competition. NC Elite administrators and coaches are committed to helping players and parents successfully navigate the college recruiting process.  In its five year history, NC Elite has gone from one recruit in the 2008 recruiting year to a total of 57 recruits over the following five years.

Dues for a player on a Premier National Team range from $4,000 – $6,900** per player, which covers club fees; uniforms; hotel stays at Monument City Classic, Presidents Day Classic in Chicago, Capitol Hill Classic, National Qualifiers, and AAU Nationals; and airfare to Northeast Qualifier–Philadelphia location, President’s Day Classic in Chicago, and the AAU National Championships. Food for events requiring team rooms is also included.

Please note that player transportation to all events within driving distance is the responsibility of the parents in an effort to reduce over-all costs for the tournament. These events include Atlantic Coast Power League (ACPL) matches, Northeast Qualifier–National Harbor location, Big South Qualifier, Capitol Hill Classic, and Queen City Classic.  In addition, ground transportation at the AAU National Championships is the responsibility of the parents as a majority of families attend this final tournament of the season.

**13s & 14s team travel and food is not included in dues. Players 14U and below will stay with family, and travel and food are not included in dues.

National Team
The National Schedule is designed for the athlete who wishes to experience the highest level of competition that fits her skill set and an extensive competition schedule. She must be willing to make sacrifices for her progress, team, and club to attempt to remain competitive enough for a rigorous high school experience and the possibility of a college opportunity in the future.  National teams will compete against other national level teams. National team players have athleticism and skill to match up against strong competition. NC Elite administrators and coaches are committed to helping athletes on the National teams achieve their recruiting goals.

Dues for a player on a National level travel team range from $3,800 – $5,500 per player, which covers club fees, uniforms, hotel stays (if applicable) at Monument City Classic, Capitol Hill Classic, National Qualifier, Hokie Classic, and the AAU National Championships. Food for events requiring team rooms is also included.

Regional-Plus Team
The Regional-Plus Program is designed for the intermediate volleyball player or the multi-sport athlete seeking experience and development while gaining valuable exposure at select events.  She is very serious about competing in high school. The Regional-Plus program is appropriate for a multi-sport athlete who is unable to commit to a more extensive practice and travel schedule or who desires a lesser financial commitment.

Regional-Plus teams play mostly in North Carolina. They also compete in a tournament in Virginia and one in either Georgia or Maryland.  Dues range from $2,200 – $2,700 per player for the season, which covers which covers club fees, uniforms, and hotel stays for the entire season. Food for events requiring team rooms is also included.

Please note that player transportation to all events is the responsibility of the parents in an effort to reduce overall cost for the experience and in light of the fact that a majority of families attend tournaments.

Regional Team
The Regional Program is designed for the beginner or recreational volleyball player seeking experience and development of her fundamentals.  She is serious about improving her game to compete for a position on her school team. The Regional team is appropriate for the player who is unable to commit to a more extensive practice schedule or who desires a lesser financial commitment.

Regional teams play in North Carolina events and the season runs from November through March/April, depending on age and division. Dues for a Regional team range between $1,300 – $1,700 per player for the season, which covers club dues and uniform fees.

Please note that player transportation to all events and player food costs at tournaments are the parent responsibility.

Developmental Programs
NC Elite offers multiple developmental programs for participants interested in learning more about volleyball and developing their skills. These teams require no tryouts and do not travel to tournaments, and are geared to 10-14 year olds.

Volley U™, LOCALS ONLY™, and Elite in Training - These programs are designed for a beginner youth volleyball player seeking experience and development of her fundamentals through consistent training and inter-squad scrimmages. She is serious about improving her game to compete for a position in middle school or high school. These programs are appropriate for the beginner or recreational player who is unable to commit to a formal tournament schedule but is focused and committed to training to improve her skills.  Practices will take place weekly for a 12 weeks and teams will participate in select local scrimmages and invitational events. Typical dues for a Developmental level team range from $600 – $800 per player for the season. Please see the Developmental Programs tab for more information.
