NC Elite Club Day
- Sunday November 20th
(12:00-6:00pm)
We are hosting our annual NC Elite Club Day
this Saturday 11/20 at Netsports
(Times vary. See Below).
Players should plan on being there roughly
2- 2 ½ hours total. Teams will assemble at
their designated arrival times to be met by
their coaches. Parents will begin at the
paperwork/payment collection station
(Required forms listed below….Please
complete prior to attending.). Players
will meet as a team then move to the uniform
fitting/ordering station (Additional sprit
wear items will be for sale),
then transition on to the team photo station
and jump testing stations…. The Cross fit
core strengthening and conditioning class
will be hosted by some of our Cross fit
instructors and will take place on
Volleyball sport court area
(Scheduled Cross Fit classes at 1:45p,
3:30p and 4:45p)….
light refreshments and snacks will follow
the completion of the conditioning class.
Players
should come dressed to workout (jump testing and
conditioning class). Black spandex/shorts required for
pictures.
In
an effort to move groups through with minimal delay we will
have staggered arrival times.

Jump Testing w/
Vertex .
We will have an area set up to warm up, stretch and test
jumping ability w/ the Vertex. We will test each
player’s: height, standing reach, approach jump reach and
block jump reach. Players will receive a card with their
measures and players will be required to enter into NC Elite
player profile to be used on our website and for programs at
large events.
Cross Fit
Conditioning Class
(Core strengthening - Lead by Cross fit Instructors).
Classes will begin at 1:45pm, 3:30pm and 4:45 pm to
accommodate all teams.
Location: Volleyball Sport court Area (Stations)
Light refreshments and snacks will be provided at the
conclusion of the Cross fit conditioning class.

is a Hoop City U. program run by Jonas Richard
(Certified Strength and Conditioning Trainer) that uses
dynamic exercises and athletic movements to improve of every
participant's speed, agility and quickness as it relates to
volleyball.
SAQ
Program begins Tuesday 12/1 at 5:30 p
for early wave teams at Hoop City U (6-8p practice)......and
Thursday 12/3 at 7:00pm for the late wave teams at Hoop
City U (7:30-9:30p practice). The SAQ program will run
weekly for up to 12 weeks.

is Free for all NC Elite members.

southpaw was strong on the right side for Broughton. In 89 games, this
high Division I talent tallied 204 kills and added 35 total blocks.

- Katie Tatum,
6-2 OH/MB, Person (Roxboro NC) – Tatum delivered nine kills and six
blocks in the state 4A final for the champion Rockets, completing a
season in which the talented youngster had 185 kills and 57 total blocks
for a team that lost just once during the regular season.

Tournament Format. Time- 2 day event, Saturday and Sunday
Wave 1 – Saturday AM -- Wave 2 – Saturday PM & ½ of
Sunday AM
Championship – ½ of Sunday AM & ½ of Sunday PM.
Teams will not be required to attend each event; however, in a team’s
absence there will be no way for a team accumulate points and improve in
standings amongst the Mid-Atlantic Power League, for longevity I think
it is ideal to get at least twelve teams per age group, but year one we
may not be there.
Play will consist of all ages playing with each other. The idea being
that after event 1, all teams will eventually be seeded by ability
rather than age. An example maybe that in the event a 16s team is
better than a 17s team they would be seeded higher than that 17s team
who maybe better than an 18s team. So by the final event each team will
be playing within their right playable ability.
